Sometimes called a "stone of transformation," charoite is thought to aid the transformation of negative emotions into positive ones. It is believed to encourage inner strength, assertiveness, creativity and self-esteem. While Charoite opens us to new energies, it also is considered an energetically protective stone, helping shield us from negative or disruptive forces. It is an extremely rare stone found only in Siberia, Russia – and there, only in the Republic of Sakha (also known as Yakutia).
